Our last PTO meeting of the 2020-2021 school year will be held on May 14, 2021 at Eagles Nest Park at 12:30PM. Everyone is welcome to join us! We will still stream the meeting via Facebook Live if you're not able to make it to Eagles Nest. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

The Northern Lehigh PTO is seeking donations to supply our K-6 students who are enrolled in our Backpack Buddies program with personal hygiene items. We currently have approximately 40 students enrolled in the program.
Here's how you can help...
An Amazon wishlist has been created for those who wish to donate. Items can be purchased and sent directly to the PTO. Once a month, we will bundle the items into kits and deliver them to the school to be included in the backpacks.
Items may also be donated by contacting Rebekah Heeres, PTO Treasurer via email, or through the PTO Facebook page. (Please do not send items into school with your child. We are happy to arrange pickup with you for your donations.)
Accepted Items:
3-in-1 kids shampoo, conditioner, & body wash bottles (no travel or jumbo sizes)
neutral/unscented deodorants
individually packaged toothbrushes
full size tubes of toothpaste
feminine hygiene products (these products will be kept in the Health Room and distributed to all students when requested.)

Monday, February 8, 2021 kicked off our Gertrude Hawk Fundraiser but due to the snow and the hybrid schedule, the packets will be coming home late. If anyone would like one sooner than there student will receive it, we can gladly meet you or put a copy in your mailbox. There also is always the option of ordering online. If you are fully virtual or Bulldog Academy and would like to participate, please reach out to the school or one of the board members for a packet. Below is a copy of all the info for the fundraiser.
Announcement: The PTO Elves have been hard at work and would love to see everyone!
Due to Covid-19 and the restrictions, the Elves and Santa will not be visiting the schools this year. BUT... the PTO would still like to show our students what they mean to us.
So this Monday, Dec. 21 from 5-730pm and Wednesday, Dec. 23 11am-1230pm at the Slatington Elementary main entrance loop, we will be handing out gifts to students in Peters and Slatington Elementary Schools . This includes all students enrolled in in-person hybrid, full virtual, Bulldog Academy, Head Start, and the IU. Please spread the word to all the students and parents in the district. Happy Holidays and stay safe.
This will be a drive thru event. Student's name and teacher is all we will need.

Our 1st Annual Holiday Decor Scavenger Hunt was a huge success! Thank you everyone for all of your submissions - everyone had such creative answers and unique decorations. We really hope we can do this again next year.

Sensory Path at Slatington Elementary
We finally had the right weather to get the blacktop painted at Slatington Elementary on October 10, 2020. We completed this project in about 8 hours, and our kids ran around the neighborhood like it was 1985 while the moms painted and stenciled :) And special thanks to Jess Schnaufer and student Elizabeth W. for coming out to help us officers with the project.

Chalk the Walk August 24, 2020
Tuesday, August 25, 2020 starts Teacher In-Service Days at our Elementary schools. PTO Board Members and volunteers Kristen Zook and Amanda Kromer "Chalked the Walk" in support of our teachers. Even though the weather called for rain on Monday afternoon and Tuesday, we wanted to do what we could today and hope that at least some of our hard work would remain for tomorrow. Thank you to everyone who came out to help!
Sensory Path at Peters Elementary
Over the Labor Day weekend, NLPTO officers and volunteers took on this project at Peters Elementary School. Many hours in the sun and the heat produced this fun and colorful sensory path for the kids to enjoy! We're excited to share this with you and we hope you enjoy it for years to come!
